C. Gopinath
Here is the short history of my family which once had four members-my parents, my sister and myself. We enjoyed each and every joyful moment of life living together with love and affection. In the year 1991 my father and mother died by a fire accident. We, two were too small to know and investigate the cause, but became orphans. Then my sister was under the care of my }mother’s family and I was under my father’s family. They were taking care of me for 3 years. For their poverty, they left me to the Ramakrishna mission sector (chengalpattu dist) from my 6th standard. Then I was shifted to Chennai sector (Ramakrishna mission student’s home) at my 9th standard. In my hostel we have some schedules like we wake up at 4.30A.M and have some exercises and prayers and we finally slept at 10.30P.M. In between that we have some regular duties like gardening, shrine cleaning and electrical works etc. In this, I have got the swamiji room cleaning duty. So swamiji liked me and he knows about my history & my poverty. So he arranges one sponsorship for me. That sponsorer was one of our old student in our home. By using that sponsorship, I had completed my diploma in mechanical engineering with honors (87%).after that they encouraged me to do a B.E. so that I got a B.E seat in Sri Muthukumaran institute of technology through counseling. After completing my B.E in mechanical stream, I got a chance to do PGDBM in EIILM. Still now I do not have any permanent address which is very much needed for an individual. I feel that based on the lord’s grace I can come upto this stage.

With recommendation of Swami deshikatmananda Maharaj, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Student’s home in Chennai, I got admission in 2years full time PGDBM Course in EIILM. With the help extended by EIILM I just wish to make my life exceptional and see the rising rays of Sun taking away the darkness of insecurity which still hovers around.

Mala Ghosh
At the outset I would like to introduce myself. I am Miss Mala Ghosh. I hail from a middle class Bengalee Family. My father was a Class-I Govt. Contractor. As ill luck would have it I lost my respected father at my very childhood. Due to his sudden and ultimately demise, my mother could not trace out his assets. As days passed on our financial condition deteriorated. However one of my uncles came forward with his helping hand. He is now a retired person and has been rendering honorary service to Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home, Rahara. With my honest efforts and perseverance I completed Post-Graduate degree in Political Science. Later I took profession as a Teacher in a High School run by Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission for 2 years or so and left it to achieve my goal. At present I am pursuing LLB degree with an ambition to stand on my own feet as the Manager of all 'mangers' of a reputable MNC. I am greatly encouraged by the life and teachings of my idol - Shri Shri Ma Sarada Devi . I follow the teachings of Sister Nivedita too. I am grateful to Swami Jayananda, Reserved Secretary Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home, Rahara for paving the way of ascending to my ambition by recommending my name for 2 years full time PGPM Course at the esteemed EIILM. I am equally grateful to EIILM for helping me to undergo the course by offering 100% scholarship along with a monthly stipend.
